TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Four people were charged after multiple corrections officers at the Toledo Correctional Institution assaulted an inmate, according to authorities. Records from Ohio State Highway Patrol say the assault happened on April 7, 2025. The report said two corrections officers used flash lights as weapons, repeatedly striking an inmate in the head.
